Your pet doesn't stop being hungry just because your day got complicated.

That's the simple truth behind Tajrah. We're a small US-based retail team, and we started this store because we kept running into the same problem: good automatic feeders were hard to find without doing hours of research, and the wrong one meant a frustrated pet, a broken device, or a return you didn't want to deal with.

We didn't build a feeder. We went looking for ones we could trust enough to put our name on.


Who we are

Tajrah is operated by IRONTRAIL AUTO PARTS LLC, registered in Kalispell, Montana. We are a specialty retailer, not a manufacturer. We don't make the products we sell. Our job is to find them, evaluate them, and carry the ones that actually hold up.

We focus on one category: automatic feeders and water fountains for cats and dogs. That's it. Not because we can't sell anything else, but because we think depth beats breadth. One category means we know every product we carry, we know the common failure points, and we're not guessing when someone asks us a question.


Who we sell to

Most of our customers share one thing in common: their pet matters to them, and their schedule doesn't always cooperate.

They're the person who gets stuck at work and spends the commute home wondering if their cat has eaten. The one who loves their dog but hates that a 3-day trip means calling in favors from neighbors. The new pet owner whose vet just said "watch the portions" and who has no idea how to actually make that happen consistently.

Pets are family. Not in a marketing-slogan way. In the way that you rearrange your whole morning because something seemed off, or you turn down a weekend away because you're not sure the setup is reliable enough. We sell to people who feel that way about their animals, and we think they deserve gear that takes the job as seriously as they do.


What we carry, and why

Our current lineup covers three needs:

  • Automatic feeders with WiFi app control — for people who want to manage meals remotely, check feeding logs, and get notified when something goes wrong
  • Camera feeders — for people who need to see their pet eat, not just trust that the food dropped
  • Feeder and water fountain combos — for households that want both food and hydration covered without two separate setups

Every product in our store works with standard dry kibble and connects via 2.4GHz WiFi to a free iOS and Android app. All models include a battery backup so feeding continues during power outages.

We do not carry wet food feeders. We do not carry products that require a paid subscription to use basic scheduling features. We do not carry anything we wouldn't feel comfortable recommending to someone we know.


How we choose what to list

We go through a checklist before anything goes live on the site. It's not complicated, but it's consistent:

  • Safety certifications verified — CE, RoHS, FCC, and UKCA where applicable. We have documentation on file and can provide it on request.
  • Product specifications cross-checked against what's described. If the listing says 1080P, the camera needs to be 1080P.
  • Water-contact materials confirmed BPA-free
  • Cleaning confirmed genuinely straightforward — not "easy to clean" in the sense that you need a toothbrush and 45 minutes
  • Dispensing tested against the most common failure mode: kibble size. We check what actually fits and what jams.

We also read what pet owners are actually saying. Not press reviews. Reddit threads at 11pm from someone whose feeder jammed on day three. Quora questions from first-time cat owners trying to figure out portions. That's where the real product feedback lives, and it's where we find out whether something we're considering carrying has a known problem we missed.

If a product gets consistent complaints about something that affects daily use, we don't list it. If we've already listed it and the complaints come in later, we stop carrying it.

What we won't do

A few things we've decided not to do, because we've seen other stores do them and we don't think they're right:

  • We won't claim a product has health benefits we can't verify. "Reduces obesity" and "improves kidney function" are not things a feeder can promise.
  • We won't show a fake countdown timer or a "only 3 left" warning on a product that isn't actually running low.
  • We won't bury the real shipping timeline. Our products take 8 to 12 business days to arrive. That's the honest number and it's on every product page.
  • We won't make the return process difficult. If something isn't right, email us. We don't want you stuck with a product that doesn't work for you.

Shipping and returns

We ship to customers across the contiguous United States. Standard shipping is free on all orders with no minimum. Most orders are processed and shipped within 1 to 3 business days, with delivery in 8 to 12 business days total.

We offer a 30-day return window from the date your order is delivered. If something arrives damaged, doesn't work as described, or isn't what you expected, email us and we'll sort it out. Full details are in our Return Policy.
